Spouse and children under the age of 18.
     
Dependants Combined Income: (Line 15000) of CRA Notices of Assessment.

 

Adjusted Family Income:

Reduced by $3000 per dependant.
Total Family income minus $3000 per dependant.

Copayment:


20% of Rx cost, paid during purchase.
When you pay for a prescription, 20% of the prescription price is considered the copayment.

Deductible:


80% of Rx cost, paid during purchase.
The balance of the prescription price 80% is then applied to your deductible.

The deductible must be paid in full before you will start to pay only the copayment amount.

Out-of-Pocket:


Pharmacare starts paying 80% of cost.
The amount you will pay out-of-pocket before, you start to pay only the 20% copayment.

Maximum Shared Rx cost:

Pharmacare starts paying 100% of cost.
Prescription cost paid by You and Pharmacare together before Pharmacare begins paying 100% of prescription costs.

Your Maximum yearly Rx cost:

Pharmacare starts paying 100% of cost.
The amount you will pay out of pocket before, Pharmacare will pay 100% of your drug costs.
Out-of-Pocket:
80% of Out-of-Pocket is your Deductible amount.
20% of Out-of-Pocket is a portion of your Copayment amount.
Maximum Shared Rx cost:
Your Out-of-Pocket amount plus the
Remainder of your Copayment amount plus
Pharmacare's contribution.
