Custom Calendar

Calendar Icon

+Click a Day then Type your Appointments and Events.

Bookmarking and accessing the calendar via a Web Server may simplify use and allow local storage to function on restricted devices.

If your system does not allow access to local storage, (controlled along with cookies), the calendar will not retain events between sessions or refreshes.

This can be overcome by:

  • Enabling cookies for the web page.

  • If access to local storage is unavailable, due to personal preference or corporate policies, you have the option of EXPORTING EVENTS to a text file, then IMPORTING EVENTS for the next session.

  • You could also enter the events and then print a paper copy.

  • If your system supports the option you can print the document to PDF, then you can view and print that month through Adobe Acrobat Reader.

If you run the calendar on multiple devices, you can export events on one device, email the file to a second device, then import events into the calendar. When importing events they will be appended to any preexisting events.

If you wish to completely replace the events within a given month, you can CLEAR EVENTS then import the new events to a blank calendar.

Exported event files are in clear text (unencrypted), if you are uptight about security please use third party software to encrypt them before emailing.

Event information is only available, within the local device.
This calendar only runs code on the local device (client side).
No calendar information is shared with a web server.

The calendar uses local storage, while local storage is more secure than cookies, the following should be considered.

  • Events saved to local storage or exported as a text file are not encrypted, they are only as secure as your device.

  • If you are using a public or shared computer, be sure to clear events/storage and delete any saved text or PDF files at the end of each session.

  • Consider using the Print only Calendar.
This limited version of the calendar uses session storage. All information is erased when you exit the calendar page.

Daily Planner

+Click a Day then Type your Details and Notes.

Daily Planner is a companion app for use with the Calendar.

Each day will display suggestions from the Calendar; they are hidden when you enter detailed notes about the day within the Planner.

Bookmarking and accessing the Planner via a Web Server may simplify use and allow local storage to function on restricted devices.

See the Calendar Info Section, for information on accessing Local Storage.
